Dr Robert Rouwenhorst

Robert joined CPL in 2016. His career includes roles in strategy, operational development and financial performance. He has 25 years of experience in Food Ingredients and Flavours with Unilever, Quest International and ABF Ingredients, including 7 years as CEO of Ohly. More recently, he was Senior Vice President & General Manager Food Systems with Tate & Lyle, and General Manager Savoury Solutions with Frutarom.

During his career Robert has developed a deep level of expertise in implementing growth strategies and delivering on large reorganisation programmes. His experience in M&A and post-acquisition integration work significantly strengthens CPL’s credentials for transactions. He has a BSc and MSc from the University of Leiden and a PhD in Bioprocess Engineering & Microbial Physiology from Delft University of Technology.
